There were PBs galore at the Watford Open last night, despite the chilly breeze and the intermittent rain. Eight ESM middle distance athletes took part in the graded 1500m races, and seven of them went home with PBs. The biggest improver was Lucy O’Brien, who sliced 11 seconds from her previous best, but Mo Hashi, Mukhtar Farah, Joe Gilbert, Ilyes Iman, Nicola Ravenhill and Cameron Thomas also made significant improvements. Well done all, and fingers crossed for more favourable weather next time.
