A small number of ESMs vets turned up at the Millennium Stadium in Battersea Park for the 3rd Vets league fixture. Grazina Narviliene came 1st in the W35 2km walk and also 1st in the W35 High jump. Dorothy Johnstone came 1st in the W60 race walk and Tracey Gould was 1st in the W35 discus.
The women’s relay team (Jane Harris, Jane Ruhland, Nikki Baker and Grazina Narviliene) came 2nd. The photo above shows Grazina completing the last leg of the women’s relay.
The photo on the right is of Jane Ruhland competing in the Triple Jump and below is of Carol Jones, Jane Harris, Nikki Baker, Janice Newman and Bob Stanbrook afterwards. Also taking part were Laurence Messer and Ian Capon.
