The Met League at Ally Pally was the last of the races counting towards this winter’s XC championships. The championships were scored over your best five races so both Ben Waterman and Lucy Ellis fell one vital race short.

PS by tradition the women’s senior champion is ineligible for the masters championships. The men don’t have the same tradition.
