It was a rather low turnout for the North West London League fixture at Harrow on Saturday, no doubt partly due to half term, but well done to those athletes who competed. The course was deceptively difficult, writes Team Manager Bridie Lebdiri, muddy on the first field with a long incline on the second.
U13 Finn Combe ran well, just recovering from illness. In the corresponding girls’ race, Lucy Henson was also feeling below par, (and has since come down with a heavy cold), so she did well to finish sixth. Josie Booker is more at home on the track but also coped very well with her first cross country of the season. Arun Manget also had a good race, finishing fifth.
