Jason (far right) powering ahead in the 200m
Top ESM veteran Jason Carty took M45 gold in both the 100m and 200m at the World Masters Championships in Malaga last week. Having broken the British M45 record for 100m earlier this year, he broke it again with a truly impressive clocking of 11.01. (And no, there wasn’t a massive tailwind!) In the 200m also, he gauged his efforts well, improving with each round to achieve his first sub-23 for a few years (22.91).
