Ealing’s Upper Age Group Young Athletes came an impressive third in their second league match last Sunday at Poole. All day long sunshine on the South Coast didn’t slow down the reduced athlete number due to exams the following day.
In particular the girls put on an electric display. Eldika Edwards and Tabita Botuli winning the A and B strings of the 100 and 200 Under 20’s metres.
Courtney Marshall went on to win the U20’s 800 metres with Erica Wallace coming a close second in the U17’s 800m.
Out on the field, Yasmine Ferguson won the U17’s Shot and Discus and was second in the Hammer. Kamile Bykovaite won the U20’s Long and Triple Jump events.
For the boys, Karolis Narvilas won the U17 Hammer.
