One of our new under-13 sprinters, Risen Balou, smashed the existing 60m record by 0.5 seconds, recording a time of 8.24 seconds at the Brunel Open in early January. Also, at the London Indoor Games, held at Lee Valley on January 25th, Leila Newth equaled the women’s under-17 high jump record of 1.68 meters, continuing her record-breaking efforts in the under-15 age group last summer.
