Training sessions take place on:
-
Mondays at 7:00pm
-
Wednesdays at 6:30pm
We have a large and enthusiastic road running group. Whether you’re a club competitor or a social runner, all abilities are welcome. If you’re looking to get into running — or you’re already a keen runner — this is the group for you.
We take part in local races throughout the year, including the Ealing Half Marathon, Perivale 5, and Osterley 10K. We also compete in the popular, family-friendly Summer League road race series. During the winter, we participate in a wide range of cross country races, including the Met League, the country’s premier regional cross country league.
Our training programmes are designed to help you get the best out of yourself. We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays:
-
Monday evenings: We meet at a local hill training location. A few members also run from Perivale Track to the session location, leaving at 6:30pm.
-
Wednesday evenings: We hold interval training on Perivale Track. We meet at 6:30pm for warm-up drills, and the session begins promptly at 6:45pm. Please note: there is a small charge for using the track.
We’re a friendly and welcoming group — there will always be someone on hand to greet you. Why not come along and give us a try?
If you’d like to attend a training session, please use the contact form to send us a message and we’ll get straight back to you. (You’re also welcome to contact us via Facebook or Instagram (see social media icons at the bottom of the page)
Additional Sessions
A separate group meets at Perivale Track on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm. These sessions are geared toward more experienced runners, typically those who can run sub-18:00 for 5K or sub-40:00 for 10K. Sessions vary and may include track intervals, hill reps, or road-based efforts.
This group also meets for a long run on Sunday mornings at 7:30am, starting from the track. The standard route is 10.5 miles, run at a pace of around 7 minutes per mile or faster.
