This match was at the Hillingdon Stadium, and was the second match of the YDL U13/U15 season.
In the U13 boys 1500m, Patrick Owen shared the lead with his Victoria Park AC rival for three laps. In the final few hundred meters, the Victoria Park lad looked the stronger as he accelerated up the final straight. Patrick dug in and crossed the line only a foot (1/5th of a second) ahead to win in a personal best time of 5.03.
Overall we finished finished fifth of six clubs. Despite the result, there were great individual performances.
Karolis Narvalis won the Hammer Throw with a personal best, followed by Max Morawski winning the Hammer B string. Sophie Blair won the Under 15 Hammer, again with a personal best distance and the U15 Shot girls both won, Yasmine Ferguson in the A string and Chanelle Pierre in the B string.
