We had some great results at the Middlesex Schools, which took place at Harrow School. John Fielding came away as County champion for Year 8/9 boys, and Nicola Ravenhill is County champion for Year 8/9 girls. Six more of our athletes qualified for the County team for the English Schools, with success across the age bands:
Year 8/9: Laura Stewart (7th)
Year 10/11: Erica Wallace (5th); Mukhtar Farah (11th)
Year: 12/13: Olivia Will (4th); Sam Shindler Glass (6th); Zephon Allen (8th)
Although Mukhtar finished just outside the top ten, his overall performance level this season was considered worthy of selection. In addition, Lucy O’Brien was 4th in the Year 7 race. Well done to all the ESM athletes who took part, and to their coaches and team managers for their invaluable support.
