Borough Trophies – Perivale – Sat 18 Aug 2012

Well done to all the Ealing athletes that turned out to support the club. We were competing for 4 trophies – the Atalanta (senior women), the George French (U13/U15 girls), the Farringdon (senior men) and the Jewkes (U13/U15 boys & U17 men).

There were a number of highlights. ESM’s U13/U15/U17 boys’ team won the Jewkes Trophy. Courtney Marshall won the cup for the best overall Mile. Charlotte Gould won the trophy for the best Hammer Throw. Shereen Charles won the trophy for best senior women’s performance and Chanelle Pierre won the junior trophy.

ESM Results Summary
Atalanta trophy
Senior women
Shereen Charles came first in both the 100m A and 200m A races.
Sophie Feruch finished second in the Mile A race.
Patricia Thomas was fourth in the 800m A race and second in the Mile B race.
Roxie Sayer and Carol Jones were the first and second non-scorers in the Mile race.
Josie Elliott took third in the 100m Hurdles A race and third in the 200m B race.
In the field events, Charlotte Gould (U17) won the Hammer A event and the B Shot and won the cup for the best Hammer Throw.
Afiya Williams (U17) threw furthest in the A Shot.
Emma Gayler came third in the Long Jump A and Helen Leadbetter won the Long Jump B.
Tracey Gould threw third furthest in the Hammer B throw.
U17 women

Eldika Edwards won the 100m A and 200m A races,
Kamile Bykovaite was first in the 200m B race and second in the 100m B race.
Freya Johnson was first non-scorer in the Long Jump.
Radley took the trophy with 151 points and ESM were second with 122.
George French trophy
U15 girls

Hannah Agbeyegbe came first in the High Jump A, second in the 100m A race and second in the 200m A race.
Besirat Tesfu won the A Long Jump, the High Jump B and the 200m B race.
Chanelle Pierre threw furthest in the Shot A and Hammer A events, with Sophie Blair coming winning the corresponding B strings.
Courtney Marshall won the Mile A race and won the cup for the best overall mile.
Emma Starkey finsihed third in the 100m B race and was the first non-scorer in the High Jump.
In the 4x100m race, ESM came second courtesy of Chenise Whiting, Cameron Thomas, Besirat Tesfu and Courtney Marshall. The Radley team put in a strong finish and just pipped us at the line.
U13 girls

Feia Starkey (U11) won the 800m A race and was fifth non-scorer in the 100m.
Chenise Whiting came second in the 200m B race and was fourth non-scorer in the 100m.
Cameron Thomas finished fourth in the 100m A race and fifth in the 200m A race.
Elizabeth Beaton was the second non-scorer in the High Jump and also in the 100m.
Radley won the trophy with 185 points and ESM runner up with 123.
Jewkes trophy
U17 boys

Lorenzo Vilona came first in the 200m, second in the 100m and won the Long Jump.
David Hannah came first in the Mile race and second in the 800m.
Javan Philpa was the first non-scorer in the 100m, second in the 200m and also in the Long Jump.
Amaruir Ranu was the second non-scorer in the 100m.
D Christopher was the first non-scorer in the 200m.
The 4x100m team came second.
U15 boys

Alex McClusky came first in the 100m and 200m race.
Ben Cave was the first non-scorer in the 100m and 200m.
Jack Wells was the second non-scorer in the 100m.
Will Lord was the second non-scorer in the 200m.
Dante Blackwood was the third non-scorer in the 100m and 200m and first non-scorer in the Long Jump.
Reece Farren came second in the 800m race. George Kerry came second in the Mile race.
Bradley Pinder came second in the High Jump.
The 4x100m team came first.
U13 boys

Reef Hook came first in the 200m and also the Long Jump as well as second in the Shot Putt.
Max Morawski came first in the Hammer.
Maateo Vao came second in the 100m and 800m and third in the High Jump.
Marcus Brown was the first non-scorer in the 800m.
Tim Wallace was the third non-scorer in the 800m and 5th in the 100m.
Sam Atwai was the first non-scorer in the 100m and second in the 200m.
Max Morawski was 5th non-scorer in the Long Jump
ESM won the trophy on 141 points, with Radley second (101) and QPH third (73).

Farringdon trophy
Luke Hyland came first in the Shot A and Hammer A strings, with Bob Densley third in the Hammer B and fifth in the B Shot.
Michael Obiri-Darko finished fourth in the 100m A race, with Alex Pang third in the B race. Samson Baah was the fifth non-scorer in the 100m.
Jamie Taylor-Caldwell came third in the 800m A race with Martin Shelley (U20) third in the B race.
Angelo John came third in the Mile race with Mark Cameron (U20) second in the B race.
Akira Anzai-Jackson (U20) was the first non-scorer in the 800m, and second in the Mile, with James O’Neill third non-scorer in the Mile.
ESM came fourth in the 4x200m relay.
St Mary’s Richmond won the trophy with 103 points, ESM were fifth with 56.
