Loughborough student Oliver Way continues to enjoy success as he extends his range beyond his specialist distance of 1500m. Following his 31:57.79 at the BUCS 10,000m Championships in April, where he finished tenth, he broke 9 minutes at his first attempt over 3,000m, with a clocking of 8:49.86 at the Loughborough International on Sunday.
He ran a 1500m PB of 4:00.64 in Birmingham at the beginning of the month and will be looking to lower it again this weekend at the BMC Sportcity GP.
