The photo shows Cyril Wroth and Allan Gibson in the Southall 10 mile road race. Cyril is on the right, wearing the Southall AC vest (which he claims still to have!) The photo was emailed by Allan, who was trying to re-establish contact with Cyril.
Cyril commented that the photo has been cropped, and that the full picture would be of interest to local historians, as it shows the newly positioned pillars that were to support the M4 motorway.
