We welcomed young athletes from our local clubs to a multi event evening last Wednesday. All competitors have to run a sprint, middle distance race, throw a Vortex Howler (an introduction to Javelin throwing) and do a long jump.
The evening was kind with the weather for the 67 competitors and the winners were:-
Under 11 girls 1st Lacey Johnson (TVH), 2nd Zakia Mossi (TVH) 3rd Jessica Holmes (Team Hounslow)
Under 11 boys 1st equal Ben Forde and Max Dooley (Hillingdon), 3rd Callum Johnson (Team Hounslow)
Under 13 girls Lara Hill (Hillingdon), 2nd equal Tilly Harwood, Lauren Fisher (both Team Hounslow) and our own Lucy O’Brien
Under 13 boys 1st Oisin Ash-Curran (Harrow), 2nd Josef Boyce (Team Hounslow) and 3rd our own Kirk Lebdiri.
