At least 31 ESM runners took part in a parkrun yesterday morning, which is probably a club record! (And that’s not counting the fair few who were out there volunteering). Quite a few of the youngsters were at Northala Fields trying to get qualifying times for the Mini-Marathon, while Gunnersbury Park attracted many of its usual ESM regulars. Interestingly, we had almost as many out last weekend – I made it 28 – and spread over nine different parkruns, from Cleethorpes to Bognor Regis. (We do get about sometimes!)
