We are sad to report that Cathy Bow sadly passed away on 27th July 2023.
Cathy was a stalwart of our women’s team and played a major role in the pioneering vanguard of Ealing & Southall AC women’s section over the country and road during the 1980’s and into the 90’s before moving to Nottinghamshire.
Also, a fantastic triathlete Cathy gained a place to represent Great Britain in the Women’s Team in Marseilles (see press cutting) and then went on to the middle-distance European Championships 1987 & 1988 followed by the World Championships in 1989. Our sincere condolences go to Geoff, Cathy’s husband/former Ealing & Southall AC athlete and their children Katie and Adam
