Nick Landeau took silver in the 1500m at the CARIFTA Games in Fort de France, Martinique on Easter Sunday, in a time of 3:58.27. A day later, the talented nineteen-year-old also took bronze in the 800m, in a time of 1:51.86, not far outside his personal best. Twenty-seven Caribbean nations take part in the annual “Caribbean Junior Track and Field Championships”. Many Carifta athletes go on to represent their countries with distinction at regional and world events in both junior and senior competitions. Well done Nick, we’re proud of you!
